News and Baseball

Hi Friends! We have news....

Okay, most of you probably already know this, but until Friday Mom's office didn't know, so I couldn't talk about it on my blog. Anyhow, our family is MOVING TO CHICAGO!!!!

In fact, we leave Thursday! Dad is going to be working in the Allstate headquarters up there, basically doing what he does now, but on a much broader scale. Cool, huh? And since Mom has to study for another bar exam this summer, she gets to stay home with me for a little awhile! Our whole family is excited about this new adventure, so stay tuned for details of our trip and all the new things we find in Illinois.

One thing Mom & Dad wanted to do before we leave St. Pete was take me to my first Rays game. The Rays have been doing really great lately and Mom & Dad say I must be their good luck charm. It's probably true because when we went to the game on Saturday the Rays won 11-4. Grammie & GoGo (aka Grandpa Tony) went with us too. It was GoGo's first professional baseball game and even he got into it! Here are a few pictures...

And here's one more of me showing off my head-holding-up skills. Obviously, it takes a lot of strength to lift up this noggin!

What a Weekend!

This was a very exciting weekend for our family! First, I got to meet my Uncle Jason for the first time. He came into town for a very special event (more to come on that!) and we picked him up at the airport on Friday night. The next day Mom, Dad, Uncle Jason, Yia and Pappou all went to the Magic Kingdom. They said I am still too small to go to Disney, so I hung out with my Grammie and Grandpa Tony that day. Even thought I wasn't there, I think Mom & Dad still had fun without me. Here are a few pictures they took....
On the Jungle Cruise...
Space Mountain? Bring it on!

Aggghhhhh!!!!!

Dad was looking a little bored waiting on the Teacups to start...

but Mom was pumped....
so far, so good....

Uh oh, now they're looking a little worse for wear!

Don't worry. Everyone survived, and it was a good thing, because the next day was a very important day! On Sunday, I was Christened! We had lots of family and friends come together to celebrate with our family as was I welcomed into the church. Pretty cool, huh? The only down side? I had to wear a dress. Mom says it was a manly dress because it had blue lace & buttons on it, but I'm not so sure about that. Here are some pictures...
With my parents & godparents (Aunt Jamie & Uncle Jason) and Pastor Rusty...

I didn't freak out nearly as much as everyone thought I would...

You know what's cool about being best friends with an opera singer? Beautiful music to celebrate all life's events! My Aunt (Katie) Bravar sang at Mom & Dad's wedding and this weekend she sang for me for my baptism. She and Uncle Michael just got back from an extended vacation in Paris! We sure are glad you're back, guys!
Mom, Dad, and me in my dress...
Afterwards we all gathered at Grammie's house for some lunch. Thanks, Grammie, for putting lunch together. And thanks to Aunt Jamie for arranging things with the church. A couple more pictures from the day...
