Macro Monday

So my new Tamron lens is not a true "macro" lens, but it's close enough to pretend. (Hmmmm....maybe after I upgrade my camera a macro should be next on my list. My never-ending list).

Anyways, remember when you were in school and you got magazines with pictures of things really close up and you had to try and guess what it was a picture of? Here's my version. Give it a try and leave your guesses as a comment! (p.s. These are really pretty easy. I promise to try and be more creative next time.)

What's that?

You think Max's blog should have Max on it? Okay...

World's Most Delinquent Preview

I should go in the record books or something for posting the world's most delinquent preview. This session is from Thanksgiving. No seriously. I bet Jason and Cathy are starting to wonder if they are going to see their engagement pictures before they actually get married! Well, guess what, they are DONE and going in the mail this week! I tried to include a few you haven't seen yet in this preview. Hope you enjoy them. We can't wait to celebrate with you this summer!

Macro Monday?

(I am totally hijacking Max's blog these days. Please forgive me?)

I won't do it! You can't make me!

(mom blogging)

Pick a favorite, you say? I won't do it! You can't make me! Big sister A is just too cute to have to pick a favorite. And the whole family together? Perfection.

By the way, in real life I pretty much think feet are the grossest things ever. Seriously, ask Adam how I feel about his feet. But l've found myself developing a thing for foot pictures. Don't ask me why. I can't explain it. Maybe it's really feet that are the windows to our soul. Okay, maybe not.

What's cookin' good lookin'?

One of my favorite things to do these days is to cook. Mom and Dad got me some really fun pretend food for Christmas and I just love making all kinds of soups and sandwiches and pizzas. You can imagine how excited I was last weekend when Mom asked me to help her make applesauce muffins. Mmmmm.....

B is for...

(mom blogging)

B is for Beautiful Baby B, of course! One of my goals for the beginning of the new year was to get some experience photographing newborns under my belt. I put the word out there and a friend put me in touch with B and her family.

B was born on Christmas Eve and just like little kids on Christmas Eve, B did not want to sleep. She was just so excited to have her picture taken, I guess. Still, even awake B managed to beeee a beeeautiful model!

More to come from this session later as I also got some shots of big sister A and the whole family together. Thank you to B and family for allowing me to capture your precious little girls!

p.s. Since I'm thinking about it, I have to give a plug for Stroller Strides. It is through the network of friends made through this great fitness group that I met B and her family. If you are a mom or know a mom looking to get some exercise and meet other young moms, definitely check out a Stroller Strides franchise in your area!

Merry Christmas 2009

Our family had such a wonderful Christmas! We had a house full of family, lots of good food to eat, and a lot fun. Of course, there were some presents, too! I learned about santa and his reindeer and about Baby Jesus. On Christmas day we even blew out the candles on a birthday cake for Jesus.  Thanks to everyone who spent Christmas with us. To those who couldn't be here, you were missed and we love you bunches and bunches! Thank you to everyone for our fantastic gifts!
