Have you heard...?

...about Mom's new job??? That's right. Mom is going to be working as an attorney again! We are all really excited for Mom and know she will do a great job. She is going to be the 4th attorney at a firm downtown and will be doing commercial litigation.

Of course, this means Mom and I won't get to spend quite as much time together BUT it also means I get to go to school and make lots of new friends. Do you know what is the best part about going to school? I get to carpool with Dad!!! My school is right there at the same place as Daddy's work so we get to ride together every day and Dad can come have lunch with me some days. Aren't you jealous?

Mom says she's going to miss me a lot when she goes back to work so we have been trying to do lots of fun stuff this week. Luckily, it's been really warm (72 degrees yesterday!) so we've been able to go outside and play. On Monday, we went to the park and played with bubbles and sidewalk chalk. I'm not too great with either yet but I like to try. Yesterday we went to the lake! The water was too cold to swim (there's still ice and snow piled up on the water's edge) but I loved playing in the sand. Mom put sand into a bucket and I had a great time taking it all out one handful at a time and dumping it all over our towel. We didn't take any pictures at the lake because Mom didn't want to get sand in her camera but here are a few pictures of me from our trip to the park:

Finally, here's a little note from Mom:

Hi everyone. You've probably noticed that I've started stamping my pictures with a watermark. I just wanted to clarify that, no, I am not starting a photography business. My photography needs a lot more practice before I could even think of that. The watermark is simply to keep any jerks out there from stealing my pictures and using them as their own. For family and friends, if you want a copy of a picture without the watermark just let me know and I'd be glad to send you the original file.

Of course, I am always looking to practice so if you know of anyone who would be willing to do a practice shoot with me, I would relish the opportunity. For now, however, I hope you enjoy these latest pictures of Max. I think his personality is really shining through these days. Here's to all Max's loyal readers and a beautiful Spring!!!
